Last summer, Olympique de Marseille managed to get rid of an undesirable. Recruited in the winter of 2023 from Angers, Moroccan Azzedine Ounahi was expected to continue his incredible progress. But he had not managed to pass this famous milestone. Loaned last season to Panathinaikos to get back on track, Ounahi performed in Greece and therefore bounced back last summer in Girona.
A transfer which quickly bore fruit since the Moroccan established himself as one of the best players of the season. Scorer against Bilbao (twice), Real Madrid and Betis, he has now scored 5 goals (3 assists) in 22 La Liga matches and has already won 5 man of the match titles since the start of the season (more than Vinicius Jr or even Raphinha). This Friday, he has just been named player of the season by the Penya Perpignan supporters group. A great reward which confirms his return to form.
