In less than three weeks, the World Cup, organized jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico, will begin. The Blues now all know what number they will wear during this competition.
Looking at the list, there are no big surprises. The last minute call-up, goalkeeper Robin Risser, will wear number 23. The starting goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, will wear number 16, while his understudy Brice Samba inherits number 1.
The captain of the France team, Kylian Mbappé, obviously keeps the 10. The number he has worn with the national team since the 2018 World Cup in Russia and with his club Real Madrid since the start of the 2025-2026 financial year.
