When discussing the Champions League final against Arsenal in the mixed zone at the PSG Campus, Warren Zaire-Emery displayed a lot of caution against the English champion. The Parisian midfielder did not want to isolate any particular danger among the Gunners, instead emphasizing the collective strength of Mikel Arteta’s team and the maximum demands that a meeting of this level will impose. In a Parisian group which is preparing to play a second consecutive European final, the PSG titi also insisted on the pride felt by the locker room, while reminding that such a journey should never become a habit. “I think that at this level, you have to fear everyone. They are a very strong team, as we have seen, they are Premier League champions. We will have to be concentrated and minimize all the small errors. That’s what’s going to make the difference.”

Then asked about what a second Champions League final in a row represents for this Parisian group, Warren Zaire-Emery underlined the collective awareness of experiencing something rare, in a climate that he considers particularly healthy ten days before the meeting. “It’s a source of pride. Because we are all aware of what we did this year and last year. This is something that should not be trivialized, it is something incredible. And we are ready. I think you saw it, we are preparing for the match in a good atmosphere. We have a good group and we try to do our best to prepare it as best as possible.
