Last night, the English press unanimously announced that Pep Guardiola will no longer be Manchester City coach next year. The coach and the Mancunian club have not confirmed the news. But the media assure that Enzo Maresca will replace her.

This is not the option that Man City lovers are most excited about. The Athletic explains that other potential options, notably those leading to Luis Enrique, Xabi Alonso and Vincent Kompany, which many wanted, appealed more to fans. Maresca will have a lot of convincing to do.
