CAN 2027 qualifiers: At what time and on which channel to watch the draw?

The draw for the CAN 2027 qualifiers takes place this Tuesday in Cairo (Egypt). Here’s how to follow it live.

Winner of CAN 2025 on the green carpet, Morocco will put its title back on the line in 2027, the date on which the next edition of the continental tournament will take place, scheduled from June 19 to July 17, 2027 in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Before the final phase, the Atlas Lions will have to qualify for the event at the end of the qualifiers, which will begin on September 21.

In total, 48 nations will try to win their ticket to the 2027 African Cup of Nations. They will be divided into 12 groups of 4, with hats based on the FIFA rankings. The top two in each group will qualify for the CAN. Note that the three host countries will participate in these qualifiers but are automatically qualified for the competition.

The draw for these qualifiers will take place this Tuesday in Cairo (Egypt). It will be in the presence of the Ivorian Max-Alain Gradel, African champion in 2015 and 2024, the Nigerian William Troost-Ekong, the Egyptian Essam El-Hadary, four-time winner of the CAN (1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010) and the Congolese Trésor Mputu.
