After loaning Benjamin Pavard to OM, Inter Milan have made a decision regarding the future of their French international.

Benjamin Pavard will not remain in the memory of Marseille supporters. If the 2018 world champion made a promising debut under the Olympian colors, he lost his ground over the course of the season and at the same time his status as an indisputable starter.

Loaned to OM for a year by Inter Milan, Benjamin Pavard was not retained by the Marseille management. The latter was not convinced by its performance and therefore did not wish to exercise the purchase option of 15 million euros included in its loan.

Inter have already made their decision

ā€œA page turns today with OMā€the former Bavarian announced on Monday, thus formalizing the end of his history with OM, before adding: ā€œ Wearing this jersey will remain a strong experience in my career and in my life. I have always tried to give my all on the pitch and represent this club with respect and commitment. I leave with a lot of emotions, lessons and the memory of a locker room that remained united until the end. Ā»

Still under contract until June 2028 with the Nerazzurri, Benjamin Pavard will therefore return to Lombardy. But he shouldn’t make any bones about it… According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the versatile 30-year-old defender would not be part of Cristian Chivu’s plans for next season. He should therefore change clubs again this summer. It remains to be seen which one.
