World Cup 2026: Deschamps’ list revealed

Didier Deschamps announces this Thursday evening the list of Blues called to compete in the 2026 World Cup with the French team this summer in the United States. An event to follow live on our site.

It’s the big night! As part of the 8 p.m. news on TF1 this Thursday, Didier Deschamps, the coach of the French team, lifts the veil on the 26 lucky ones (at most) called to compete in the World Cup across the Atlantic from June 11 to July 19 (at best).

As a reminder, the Blues have an appointment during the first phase of the tournament with Senegal (Tuesday June 16 at 9 p.m. – French time – in New York), Iraq (Monday June 22 at 11 p.m. in Philadelphia) and Norway (Friday June 26 at 9 p.m. in Boston). They will have previously faced Ivory Coast (Thursday June 4 in Nantes) and Northern Ireland (Monday June 8 in Lille) in preparation.

The list for the month of March as a basis

Two months ago, as part of friendly matches to be held in the United States against Brazil and Colombia, Didier Deschamps called up the following 25 players:

Goalkeepers: Lucas Chevalier (PSG), Mike Maignan (AC Milan, ITA), Brice Samba (Rennes).

Defenders: Lucas Digne (Aston Villa, ANG), Malo Gusto (Chelsea, ANG), Lucas Hernandez (PSG), Theo Hernandez (Al-Hilal, ARS), Pierre Kalulu (Juventus, ITA), Ibrahima Konaté (Liverpool, ANG), William Saliba (Arsenal, ANG), Dayot Upamecano (Bayern Munich, ALL).

Midfielders: Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid, ESP), N’Golo KantĂ© (Fenerbahçe, TUR), Manu KonĂ© (AS Roma, ITA), Adrien Rabiot (AC Milan, ITA), AurĂ©lien Tchouameni (Real Madrid, ESP), Warren Zaire-Emery (PSG).

Forwards: Maghnes Akliouche (Monaco), Rayan Cherki (Manchester City, ANG), Ousmane Dembélé (PSG), Désiré Doué (PSG), Hugo Ekitiké (Liverpool, ANG), Randal Kolo Muani (Tottenham, ANG), Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid, ESP), Michael Olise (Bayern Munich, ALL), Marcus Thuram (Inter Milan, ITA).

At the time, Jules KoundĂ© and Bradley Barcola were unavailable, then replaced in the French group by Pierre Kalulu and Randal Kolo Muani. The latter could this time take advantage of Hugo EkitikĂ©’s package to stay in the right car.
