Goalkeeper of the Racing Club de Lens, Robin Risser (21 years old) had a crazy season with the Artesian club. Second in Ligue 1 with his team, he was voted best goalkeeper in Ligue 1. Solid performances which convinced coach Didier Deschamps to bet on him for the 2026 World Cup where he will accompany Mike Maignan and Brice Samba.

Questioned by the TF1 news, the Lensois doorman expressed his joy: “a lot of pride, something incredible I can’t find the words but it’s extraordinary. Of course, it’s one of my goals, it’s a dream come true. Looking forward to finishing the season properly and planning for this magnificent competition.»
