Cesc Fàbregas continues to see his popularity rise in the coaching market. Author of a remarkable season at the head of Como in Serie A, where he is still in the running for a place in the Champions League, the Spanish technician has already been cited to succeed Álvaro Arbeloa at Real Madrid. Asked about radio COPEthe former FC Barcelona midfielder has not closed any doors despite his Blaugrana past.

“I don’t have any red lines. Only one, and I was very clear about this from the start, is that I do not want to be a deputy… for example. I am clear: I want to be a head coach. As for the other option? I didn’t even think about it. I didn’t have time for that.”. The Spaniard also took the opportunity to comment on the recent tensions at Real Madrid, notably around Vinícius Júnior and Xabi Alonso, recalling that no player “is above the group”. A release which will logically make noise in Spain.
