At the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Lazio hosted Inter Milan, already champions, for this 36th day of Serie A in a one-sided encounter. From the first minutes, the Nerazzurri imposed their rhythm and quickly opened the scoring in the 6th minute thanks to MartĂnez, well launched in a rapid action. Dominant in all areas of the game, Chivu’s men then doubled the lead in the 39th minute by SuÄŤić, perfectly served by the Argentinian. At the break, Inter logically led 2-0, without really being worried.

In the second half, Lazio tried to react but came up against a solid defense and a well-organized Milan block. The turning point in the match came with the expulsion of Romagnoli in the 58th minute, after intervention by the VAR, leaving the Romans numerically inferior. Inter then managed their advantage and sealed their victory in the 76th minute thanks to Mkhitaryan, well served by Bonny. Solid and efficient, the Milanese won (3-0) away from home, confirming their superiority in a match controlled from start to finish.
