Accused of having exchanged messages with a 15-year-old girl, this Bournemouth player was dismissed by his club.

Sixth in the Premier League, in the race to qualify for the first Champions League in its history, Bournemouth will have to do without Alex Jimenez on Saturday at Fulham. The reason? The controversy in which the Spanish right-back, one of the Cherries’ best players this season, finds himself involved.

“AFC Bournemouth is aware of posts circulating on social media regarding right-back, Álex Jiménez. The club understands the seriousness of the situation and an investigation is underway,
indicates the English team in a press release. As a result, Alex will not be included in the squad for tomorrow’s Premier League match against Fulham and the club will make no further comment at this time. »

“I like smaller girls”

In some screenshots relayed on social networks, we see what is presented as an exchange of messages between Alex Jimenez and a young girl. The latter quickly tells him that she is not yet 18, and even ends up telling him that she is much younger. “It doesn’t matter to you that I’m 15?” »writes the young girl.

“Of course it matters, the 21-year-old would have replied, in messages which have yet to be authenticated.
I like smaller girls (sic). I’ve never been with a 15 year old girl. »
