In a long press release published on his social networks this Thursday evening, Federico Valverde took the floor to give his version of the facts, while the rumor has been circulating since this afternoon according to which the Uruguayan fought with Aurélien Tchouameni. A blow from the Frenchman would have caused him to fall, subsequently causing him a head trauma. However, according to Valverde, no blows were exchanged between the two men. The Uruguayan even goes so far as to say that “his small cut on his forehead” was caused after “accidentally hitting a table”.

Valverde denounces lies
The Uruguayan adds: “I’m sorry. I am really sorry because this situation hurts me, this moment we are going through is painful. Real Madrid is one of the most important things in my life, and I cannot be indifferent to it. The result is an accumulation of things that results in a senseless quarrel, which tarnishes my image and leaves room for doubt to invent stories, slander and throw fuel on the fire of an accident.
