Currently playing for São Paulo (Brazilian first division), Lucas Moura has recently been stuck in the infirmary. Indeed, a terrible injury will keep him out of the field until 2027. However, this did not prevent him from granting an interview to The Team before the Champions League match between PSG and Bayern Munich (tonight at 9:00 p.m.). During the exchange, the former player from the capital returned to his faithful Brazilian friend, Marquinhos, then to the coronation in C1 last season.

“It was a mixture of feelings. I was very happy for the club, for the supporters, but on the other hand, I was a little upset and I regretted never having raised it in my time. We didn’t get very far. But afterwards, when I saw Marquinhos’ joy, his relief, his happiness, it warmed my heart.” he declared to the sports daily. “I knew this was going to happen. It’s not easy to win the C1, but if you try so hard, it will pay off. Luis Enrique has put together a huge team. I was so happy for PSG, for Nasser (Al-Khelaïfi), for the supporters and for my brother (Marquinhos). I’m so happy that he was able to represent our group.”. A poignant speech.
