This evening, PSG will challenge Bayern Munich in a high-tension Champions League return leg. And at the Allianz Arena, the Parisians arrive with an attack that could make the Bavarians shudder. In the lot, Ousmane Démbélé, Ballon d’Or 2025, is present. Decisive three times in the first leg, the former FC Barcelona striker has completely changed dimension since his arrival in the capital in 2023. Under the orders of Luis Enrique, the native of Vernon has even become the central element of the eleven in C1.

Danilo Pereira, who played for PSG between 2020 and 2024 (currently in the colors of Al-Ittihad), explained his importance during an interview with The Team. “Ousmane is much more mature. He has a huge influence on the way PSG plays because people believe in him. By feeling this importance, he manages to be very influential and he knows how to close opportunities like no one else”notes the Portuguese. “Before a match during which the pressure is high, he likes to crack a joke or make an offbeat remark so that the group relaxes. He will joke around the same way with an athletic director as he will with an equipment manager. That says a lot about his personality.”. The 2026 version of the striker seems to please!
