Bayern-PSG: The probable line-ups with a surprise

If Luis Enrique should line up the expected eleven on the lawn of the Allianz Arena, Vincent Kompany could make not one but two changes in his starting line-up.

Eight days after the incredible first leg played on the lawn of the Parc des Princes, Bayern Munich and PSG meet this Wednesday evening at the Allianz Arena for the second round of this dream semi-final. And if the Parisians leave with a slight advantage thanks to their 5-4 victory in the first leg, the suspense remains and the spectacle promises to be there once again.

Because despite the numerous goals conceded by the two defenses, Luis Enrique and Vincent Kompany should not deny each other. The two starting eleven should also be very close to those lined up last Tuesday at the Parc des Princes.

On the Parisian side, only one change is expected, due to the absence of Achraf Hakimi, injured during the first leg. Warren Zaire-Emery should replace him in the right lane and leave his place in midfield to Fabian Ruiz, although he struggled when he came into play last week.

Leon Goretzka, the surprise guest?

For the rest, Luis Enrique should renew his standard team. Willian Pacho and Marquinhos will thus make up the hinge while Nuno Mendes will occupy the left lane and in midfield, Vitinha and Joao Neves will support Fabian Ruiz. Finally, up front, Ousmane Dembélé will be surrounded by Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia while Bradley Barcola will start on the bench.

On the Bavarian side, a change seems certain: Alphonso Davies, started to everyone’s surprise during the first leg and replaced at the break, should indeed give way to the Austrian Konrad Laimer. But according to the Munich press, doubt surrounds the tenure of Jamal Musiala. Little to his advantage at the Parc des Princes or last weekend against Heidenheim, he could see himself preferring Leon Goretzka, author of a double, on Saturday.

The probable compositions:

Bayern Munich: Neuer (cap) – Stanisic, Upamecano, Tah, Laimer – Kimmich, Pavlovic, Olise, Musiala or Goretzka, Diaz – Kane

PSG: Safonov – Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos (cap), Pacho, Nuno Mendes –Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz – Doué, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia.
