At the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, Sevilla FC scored a valuable victory against Real Sociedad on this 34th day of La Liga. In a closed and balanced first period, the two teams struggled to create real chances, neutralizing each other in the midfield. Sevilla were slightly more enterprising, but without being able to achieve results, and the two teams returned to the locker room with a draw.

Returning from the locker room, the Andalusians made the difference thanks to Alexis Sánchez, scorer in the 50th minute, taking advantage of a moment of hesitation in the Basque defense on a pass from Maupay. Subsequently, Luis García’s men were able to seriously manage their advantage against a Real Sociedad lacking offensive efficiency. This success (1-0) allows Sevilla to take three important points in the fight for maintenance, returning to the level of its direct competitors and completely relaunching its end of season. Today they occupy 17th place, first non-relegation.
