Victim of an injury to the biceps femoris of his left leg against Celta Vigo (1-0) last week, Lamine Yamal will not play again this season with FC Barcelona. According to the latest information from the Spanish press, his participation in the World Cup (June 11-July 19) was not supposed to be compromised, despite a risk of relapse. Hansi Flick’s latest release goes in this direction.

“We are in constant contact. He is doing well, his progress is encouraging. I think we will see him at the World Cup and he has time to recover and come back. This is what he absolutely wants”indicated the German coach at a press conference, on the eve of his team’s trip to Osasuna.
