Good news for Bayer Leverkusen. This Wednesday morning, the German club confirmed that its defender Edmond Tapsoba would extend his contract soon. On its social networks, the account of the 2024 German champion club decided to respond to information published by journalist Fabrizio Romano before making it official via a press release.

“Contract until 2031. Bayer 04 extends its star defender Edmond Tapsoba long-term. Bayer 04 Leverkusen has extended the contract of its central defender Edmond Tapsoba. The 27-year-old Burkinabe international player signed, two years before the expiration of his current contract, a new contract valid until June 30, 2031. Tapsoba was recruited at the beginning of 2020 as a young talent by the Portuguese first division club Vitoria Guimaraes.
