FA Cup: Manchester City wants to postpone the date of the final against Chelsea

Manchester City is currently in discussions with the Premier League to reorganize a particularly dense schedule as the end of the season approaches, according to information from Daily Mail. The Citizens still have to play two postponed matches against Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, scheduled around the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 16. The Mancunian club would like to reverse the order of these matches in order to optimize the recovery of its squad in a decisive period of its season.

The stakes are far from trivial in the race for the title, where Arsenal remains the only direct competitor. A change would allow Pep Guardiola’s team to better distribute their efforts, in particular by avoiding a tricky trip just after the final at Wembley.
