Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández took advantage of a few days of rest granted by his club to enjoy a getaway to Madrid, in the company of his teammates Marc Cucurella and João Pedro. According to newspaper information A.S.the Argentinian international was seen in the streets of the Spanish capital, but also in the stands of the Mutua Madrid Open, a tournament that he particularly likes and where he had already visited last year. This short stay comes just after the Blues qualified for the FA Cup final against Leeds (1-0).
But this visit to Madrid did not go unnoticed, particularly due to recent statements from the 2022 World Champion. Indeed, Fernández had confided in an interview his attraction to the city, going so far as to mention his desire to live there, comments which had provoked strong reactions among supporters and even led to an internal sanction.
