Michael Olise’s exceptional season continues to arouse much desire.

Michael Olise continues to impress in the colors of Bayern Munich. This weekend again, the attacking midfielder made his mark during the spectacular success against Mainz 05 (3-4), with a curling shot to reduce the gap to 3-2. The Frenchman has posted impressive statistics this season: 21 goals and 26 assists in all competitions, confirming his explosion at the highest level.

His performances inevitably attract attention in Europe. According to several British media, Liverpool is closely monitoring its development, particularly with a view to preparing for the aftermath of Mohamed Salah, whose departure is planned for this summer.

“It will not be sold…”

Olise’s price is also soaring on the market. Recruited €53 million in the summer of 2024 from Crystal Palace, his value is now estimated at around €140 million by the specialized site Transfermarkt, and Bayern could further raise the stakes, with a contract running until 2029, with a possible extension at stake.

But in Bavaria, the message is clear. The club does not want to hear about a departure. “It will not be sold this summer, absolutely”said Max Eberl, general manager of Bayern Munich, in comments reported by Sky Sports Deutschland. “For us, there is not a second of hesitation. His development is excellent”. A firm exit which immediately cools Liverpool’s ambitions on this issue.
