This Saturday, Dortmund hosted Friborg for the 31st day of the Bundesliga. And if BVB (2nd) was now left behind after the coronation of Bayern Munich last week, its place in the Top 3 remained to be confirmed. For its part, Friborg (7th), arrived on the lawn of Signal Iduna Park quite calm, having achieved five victories in a row in all competitions. The objective was therefore clear: to secure the European places with four days remaining. However, the men in yellow showed their opponents that they should not arrive with their hands in their pockets.

Indeed, Maximilian Beier punished the visitors with a superb wrapped shot (8th, 1-0). And since the counter-attacks from Serhou Guirassy’s teammates were fatal, the Guinean added his fifteenth goal of the season without asking any questions (13th, 2-0). Then, Ramy Bensebaini increased the score with a header after half an hour of play (31st, 3-0). The second act seemed very calm, but the locals were not satisfied and Fabio Silva stunned his opponents at the end of the match (87th, 4-0). Dortund therefore consolidates its second place in the ranking. The Breisgau-Brasilianer fall to 8th position.
