This Sunday, Manchester City took an option in the title race against Arsenal. By winning at home against the Gunners this Sunday (2-1), the Cityzens can come back and overtake their rivals on goal average if they succeed against Burnley in their late match. A superb operation that could have been different.

Indeed, in the first period, the Cityzens opened the scoring thanks to a number from Rayan Cherki. In the process, Gianluigi Donnarumma was guilty of a big mistake. Taking too long on his recovery, the Italian goalkeeper was caught by Kai Havertz who blocked the ball into the back of the net. After the meeting, Pep Guardiola returned to this blunder which could have cost his family dearly: “Khusanov needs to do a better job of blocking and countering Havertz’s aggressiveness. But I appreciated the reaction of his teammates, they were there to help him. When I see teams who, after conceding a goal, all start complaining, I don’t like it.» More fear than harm.
