Since his arrival on the Chelsea bench last January, Liam Rosenior has failed to rectify the situation with the Blues. In his first 22 matches with the London club, Rosenior suffered nine defeats. A catastrophic assessment which places the former Strasbourg coach among the worst coaches in the history of the residents of Stamford Bridge. At a press conference this Monday before the match against Brighton, Rosenior gave a fairly surprising response.

It’s about being frank. It’s about seeing where I made mistakes, where we made mistakes, where we need to improve, and having open, honest, thought-provoking discussions to improve the process. If you are not honest, if you do not admit your mistakes, you will never progress. I have made mistakes, I will make more, even more. This is the case for all coaches. With the guys here, and the way they support me, we all want the club to succeed. The fewer errors, the better. Players understand that we are all on the same page in terms of what we want to accomplish. »
