Ruslan Malinovskyi is set to leave Genoa when his contract ends on June 30. According to the Italian press including the journalist Fabrizio Romanothe Ukrainian midfielder is in advanced negotiations with Trabzonspor, who are offering him a three-year contract. Unless the situation turns around, the Ukrainian international should therefore end his adventure in Serie A after several seasons spent in Italy.

Arriving in Italy in 2019 at Atalanta, Malinovskyi played 143 matches and scored 30 goals with the Bergamo club before a stint with OM during the 2022-2023 season. Then recruited by Genoa in the summer of 2023, first on loan then permanently for just under 8 million euros, he has 71 appearances and 10 goals with the Rossoblu. This is a nice rebound for someone who failed to shine among the Phocaeans.
