After the two convincing victories of the French team against Brazil (1-2) and Colombia (1-3), Christophe Dugarry was particularly enthusiastic in the show Rothen ignites. With just over two months until the 2026 World Cup, the former 1998 World Champion believes that the Blues are sending very positive signals. If he fully embraces his enthusiasm — claiming to have “want to burst into flames” : “I sincerely believe in it, I believe in it more and more. If we were to worry about this French team, what should we say about Brazil or Colombia? Because at the moment, they were catastrophic. »

He even added: “I think we have the best players. What we didn’t have the best was at the collective level. I think that at the collective level, we could improve… And there, these individuals begin to find a form of alchemy, there is a pleasure that emerges from seeing them play, from seeing them play together and run together. There is really something strong that is coming out of this team and which is super interesting and really gives a lot of optimism”.
