The call of selection will be too strong for Antonio Conte. This is what the Italian press thinks they know this Wednesday morning. The current Napoli coach already coached her between 2014 and 2016, after his time at Juventus Turin. And he left good memories there, which pushes the Italian Federation to consider him as the best option to turn it around. Under contract until 2027 with Naples, which he almost left last summer, Conte has already explained that he could be tempted.

Its president Aurelio de Laurentiis responded that he would open the door to a departure for the Italian selection. And obviously, he is already thinking about the potential successor. According to La Gazzetta dello Sportthree names emerge. Thiago Motta first, without a job since his ouster from Juventus Turin, but also Vincenzo Italiano, the Bologna coach, and Fabio Grosso, the former OL coach who is now making Sassuolo shine. Still in the race for the Serie A title, Antonio Conte will probably wait until the end of the season to decide.
