Beaten 2-1 in its Bernabéu lair last week by the powerful Bayern led by Michael Olise, Real Madrid will have to create the feat this Wednesday evening on Bavarian soil, in the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League. Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius will try to carry the Merengues, who are however deprived of one of their centerpieces in the person of Aurélien Tchouaméni, suspended for accumulation of warnings.
Alvaro Arbeloa reserves a surprise in his starting eleven since Eduardo Camavinga, expected as the number 6 of the day, is left on the sidelines. Real is thus led by a midfield made up of Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler, with Brahim Diaz on one wing and the two offensive stars up front!
Camavinga on the bench, Mendy starting!

Ferland Mendy, who just made his return to competition last weekend (17 minutes to his credit against Girona), is lined up from the start at the Allianz Arena. David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, Alvaro Carreras, Dani Carvajal are substitutes, as are offensive options Franco Mastantuono and Gonzalo Garcia.
On the Bavarian side, Olise is accompanied by Serge Gnabry, Luis Diaz and Harry Kane in Vincent Kompany’s fiery offensive quartet. Dayot Upamecano responds to the defense call.
