Diego Simeone has decided whether or not Antoine Griezmann will start to face Barça this Tuesday evening in the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League.

Winner of the first leg at the Camp Nou (0-2), Atlético Madrid welcomes FC Barcelona to the Metropolitano this Tuesday (9 p.m.) in the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League. A meeting for which Diego Simeone decided to start Antoine Griezmann, like a week ago in Catalonia. This is his 100th start in the most prestigious European competition.

The French world champion will have Julian Alvraez in front of him and at his side Giuliano and Lookman. In the midfield, Marcos Llorente and Koke will be associated. In defense, Clément Lenglet took advantage of several absences to find a place in the Colchoneros eleven. He had not started in C1 since last September.

Lewandowski on the bench

Opposite, Barça is notably deprived of Raphinha, injured, and Cubarsi, suspended after his red card received in the first leg. Lamine Yamal is a good starter, as is Jules Koundé. On the other hand, Hansi Flick decided to do without the services of Lewandowski at kick-off. It is Ferran Torres who will occupy the forefront of the attack.

Atlético’s eleven: Musso – Molina, Le Normand, Lenglet, Ruggeri – Marcos Llorente, Koke – Giuliano, Griezmann, Lookman – Julian Alvarez.

Barça’s eleven: Barça: Joan Garcia – Koundé, Eric Garcia, Gerard Martin, Cancelo – Dani Olmo, Pedri – Lamine Yamal, Fermin Lopez, Gavi – Ferran Torres.
