During their stay in Boston, the French team had a foretaste of the conditions of the World Cup… and in particular the logistical challenges. Surprised by traffic jams in the city center, the French delegation took an hour and a quarter to reach the stadium during the victory against Brazil (2-1). “The most difficult thing is the traffic”recognized Didier Deschamps Thursday evening, reports The Team. This full-scale test allowed the staff to learn valuable lessons, particularly on the choice of training camp and travel to Gillette Stadium.

Despite this small inconvenience, nothing dissuades the Blues from settling at the Four Seasons, in the center of Boston, during the World Cup. The hotel will be entirely privatized, with a French chef alongside the team, and corresponds to the taste of this generation who appreciates city centers.
