Currently Tottenham striker, Mathys Tel shared a funny anecdote about his school career in the show “Freewheeling Zack” on YouTube. The 20-year-old French striker explained that he did not take the baccalaureate, his departure to Bayern Munich having taken place just before the exam year. With humor, he said: “Before the baccalaureate, I went to Bayern Munich… They caught me before the baccalaureate year, I would have liked to pass it (laughs). I was turbulent, I was laughing too much. My sister didn’t want to know anything, I tried to negotiate… she searched and searched… we couldn’t find an equivalent and I said too bad, focus on the ball. Without having the baccalaureate, I speak four languages now: English, German, Creole and French. »
On a sporting level, however, the situation is more complicated for the former Stade Rennais striker. Indeed, Spurs are going through another very difficult season and currently occupy 16th place in the Premier League, while Tel is barred by competition and has only three goals in all competitions this season.
