After the dismissal of Sergio Conceicao from AC Milan last summer, the Lombard club decided to bring back a former member of the house: Massimiliano Allegri. Eleven years after his departure, the Italian coach’s mission was to put the Milanese back in the European Cup after a complicated season. Sometimes criticized for his play, the 58-year-old coach nonetheless remains a specialist in Italian football, as evidenced by his second place in the league standings with Milan this season.

Asked about his future at Milan, Allegri explained that he was very happy at the idea of remaining at the San Siro side: “I am linked to Milan until 2027; the future is tomorrow. I am happy here, very happy. We have started a long journey, and the club is working on the future of the team. But until we reach this goal, we must stay focused on the present.»
