He justified his choice to recall him, to the detriment of other profiles like Mateta, Coman, Thauvin, or even Nkunku.
“Kolo Muani was also absent due to a long injury. He has been with us for a while, because of what he has done and his qualities. He is not in the best period of his career. Like any player, he can have periods that are less good. He had injuries. I follow my logic. Could I have taken other players? Yes. He can occupy several positions too, that’s to his merit too and that doesn’t mean that it means he can stay. He has a positive experience with us.
