Senegal will appeal to the CAS
For its part, the Senegalese federation has already announced its intention to appeal the CAF decision before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. âThe Senegalese Football Federation denounces an unfair, unprecedented and unacceptable decision which brings discredit to African football,â she wrote in a press release to begin with.
âFor the defense of its rights and the interests of Senegalese football, the Federation will initiate, as soon as possible, an appeal procedure before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanneâshe added.
