The ranking of European top scorers

This Monday is already the twenty-second assessment of the season in the ranking of European top scorers. We thus find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey. As since almost the start of the season, Harry Kane comes out on top. The English striker did not score against Bayer Leverkusen (1-1), but has a good record of 30 goals in 25 matches.

Behind the competition is much further. Second, Kylian Mbappé did not play against Elche this Saturday (4-1), but remains in ambush with no less than 23 goals in 23 matches. The podium is, however, completed by Luis Suárez. Author of a good season with Sporting CP, the Colombian striker maintains his solid pace with 23 goals in 24 matches. However, he did not play this weekend and was unable to improve his statistics against Tondela.

Ayase Ueda replaces herself

Fourth, Ayase Ueda accelerates again. The Japanese striker thus has 22 goals in 25 matches after his double against Excelsior in the Rotterdam derby (2-1). He is a short head ahead of Erling Haaland who has similar statistics with 22 goals in 29 matches. The Norwegian remained silent against West Ham with Manchester City (1-1). Sixth, Paul Onuachu remains with a double against Kayserispor (3-1) and a pawn against Rizespor (1-0). He now has 21 goals in 22 games.

Seventh, Vangelis Pavlidis is not to be outdone. The Greek striker has scored 21 goals in 26 matches this season, but he did not find the fault against Arouca (2-1). Eighth, Vedat Muriqi scored 18 goals in 27 matches, but was unable to be effective yesterday against Espanyol Barcelona (2-1). Igor Thiago follows in ninth place. The Brazilian striker from Brentford, who has 18 goals in 29 matches, faces Wolverhampton this evening. Finally, Ayoub El Kaabi completes this top 10. The Moroccan remains on a double with Olympiakos against OFI Crete (3-0). He scored 17 goals in 21 matches.

Yanis Begraoui (Estoril) fails to reach the top 10 with also 17 goals. Tawanda Maswanhise (Motherwell), Deniz Undav (VfB Stuttgart) and Eldor Shomurodov (Istanbul Basaksehir) follow with 16 goals, while Christian Fassnacht (Young Boys de Berne), Luis Diaz (Bayern Munich), Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth and Manchester City), Benjamin Nygren (Celtic Glasgow), Mason Greenwood (Olympique de Marseille), Luka Jovic (AEK Athens), Chris Bédia (Young Boys of Bern) fail further with 15 goals.
