It is therefore, more than a confirmation, a great rise in power made by the former Eagle of Crystal Palace. A crazy rise capable of giving him the honorary title of best player on the planet?

A decisive World Cup

Some observers no longer hesitate to consider him the best winger of the moment. There are few talented players capable of competing in terms of stats and influence with the level he displays today. Lamine Yamal, Bukayo Saka, Vinicius Jr… the references on the wings are numerous, but the versatility of the London native could well make the difference when it comes to rewarding individualities.

The horizon is still distant but 2026 being a World Cup year, Michael Olise can quite stand out in the event of a successful World Cup for the Blues this summer. We would then perhaps have to deal with competition from the outgoing Ballon d’Or – Ousmane Dembélé – and of course with that of captain Kylian Mbappé. This is all the harm we can wish for…
