Author of an exceptional previous year, like the whole of PSG with the victory in the Champions League, Warren Zaire-Emery had a more complicated start to the season, to the point of seeing his place in the French team called into question. This Sunday morning, in an interview given to Téléfootthe Parisian midfielder explained how he managed to reverse the trend and what allowed him to once again become one of the essential elements of PSG. He is now looking ahead to the 2026 World Cup with the Blues, for which he seems in a good position.

“My comeback? I would say that I asked myself the right questions. I worked on myself, it happened naturally. The France Espoirs team and coach Gérard Baticle helped me a lot. I told myself that I wanted to go back without any pressure, to regain that confidence. I analyzed myself: I lacked intensity and awareness of the game. I think we must continue in this direction. I had times where it was really hard, but today I feel good and I just want to keep going.”declared the 20-year-old before adding about the 2026 World Cup: “It’s every kid’s dream to play for the French team and wear the A jersey. When you’re on the list, you tell yourself that you’re one of the best French players. There will be a lot of competition and you will have to give everything to claim to be there. I haven’t booked a holiday…”
