Borussia Dortmund is closely following Said El Mala, the 19-year-old left winger from FC Cologne, already courted by PSG and Bayern Munich. Author of a good season in the Bundesliga (24 matches, 7 goals, 3 assists), the young German talent also attracts Brighton, who reportedly made an offer of 30 million euros for him and his brother Malek, refused by Cologne. The BVB, which had already considered his arrival in 2024, could relaunch the file this summer, on condition of selling certain players to finance the transfer estimated at a minimum of 50 million euros according to Bild.
Beyond the cost, Niko Kovač will have to think about integrating El Mala into his 3-5-2 system, the winger shining especially on the flanks. Dortmund could therefore consider tactical adjustments to accommodate the prodigy, who would find there a springboard for the Champions League while considerably improving his salary.
