In an interview with German media Kickerthe young Bavarian prodigy, Lennart Karl, returned with lucidity to his rapid rise to the highest level. At only 18 years old, the German himself admits to having been sometimes surprised by the speed with which everything came together, while emphasizing that he never doubted his ability to succeed. “I was sometimes surprised by how things turned out, but I always believed I could do it. So I persevered and worked hard. I am very satisfied, but there is always room for improvement. I hope to score more goals, deliver more assists and deliver even better performances.”he confided.

On the field, his performances already give credence to this ambition. Thrust into an important role during the absence of Jamal Musiala, the German star was able to respond with impressive maturity. In all competitions, he has already scored 7 goals in 30 appearances for the Bavarian jersey, including 18 starts, a remarkable volume of play for a player who has barely reached the age of majority. A rise in power which confirms that he is not content to help out, but is gradually establishing himself as a real option for the future at Bayern under the leadership of Vincent Kompany.
