Brilliant since his arrival in Bavaria, Michael Olise continues to impress with Bayern: 13 goals and 21 assists this season. Sports director Christoph Freund did not hide his satisfaction, welcoming the meteoric progress of the French international, who has become one of the most decisive players in Europe. Arriving in the summer of 2024, the former Crystal Palace player already displays impressive statistics, with more than 80 direct contributions in less than 90 matches, confirming his status as a centerpiece in the Bavarian offensive animation, alongside the formidable Harry Kane.

Asked about the future of the 24-year-old player, the manager was calm, recalling that the club has a long-term contract running until 2029. Very satisfied with his performance and his integration, Bayern feels no urgency on this issue and is even considering building over the long term with him. Internally, the desire is clear: to rely for a long time on a player who has become essential. “From Bayern’s point of view, we can of course imagine that he will stay here for a very, very long time.”said Freund according to Sky Sports.
