Tuesday evening, after debriefing the Champions League play-off between Monaco and PSG, “L’After Foot” discussed the
insults uttered by Gianluca Prestianni towards Vinícius Júnior.

Daniel Riolo then expressed certain reservations on air, despite the reframing of his colleague Edgar Groleau, the correspondent of
RMC Sport in Spain which followed the meeting between Benfica and Real Madrid. In the minutes that followed, the sports journalist was the subject of a
bad buzz on social networks.

This Wednesday evening, Daniel Riolo intervened on the set of the show “Tout beau, tout neuf”, on W9, to deplore comments that he considers to have been taken out of context. Obviously, his partner Géraldine Maillet came to his defense.

Cyril Hanouna also stepped up to the plate.
“It’s unbearable. Really… The guys cut the video… He gives his opinion on a player and he said afterwards that if there had been an insult, he should never play again. The guys make edits and put them on the networks”lamented the PAF troublemaker.

And the television host hammers out: “It’s unbearable. And there are pseudo-journalists who take up and create a buzz about it. It’s unbearable. Things really need to be put in place because they can’t do their job.” Daniel Riolo had indeed stressed that if the insults were proven following the investigation carried out by UEFA, then Gianluca Prestianni should never play a Champions League match again.
