The ranking of European top scorers

BL: Bayern Munich crushes Stuttgart, Wolfsburg dominates Union Berlin

This Tuesday is already the seventeenth assessment of the season in the ranking of European top scorers. We thus find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey. Hanging on Saturday by Bayern Munich with Hamburg (2-2), Harry Kane nevertheless scored a new goal which allows him to remain the leader of this ranking with 22 goals in 20 matches.

However, its main competitor keeps up the pace. Author of a valuable goal to allow Real Madrid to win 2-1 against Rayo Vallecano, Kylian Mbappé once again stood out. The French striker now has a solid record of 22 goals in 21 matches. The podium is completed by Erling Haaland. Yet in poor form, the Norwegian striker has scored 20 goals in 24 matches. This Sunday against Tottenham with Manchester City, he remained silent in a 2-2 draw.

Luis Suarez gets closer to the podium

Silent this Sunday against Tondela with Benfica (0-0), Vangelis Pavlidis marks time. At the foot of the podium, the Greek striker has 19 goals in 20 matches. It’s a little better than Ayase Ueda who came fifth. The Japanese striker from Feyenoord continues to fall in the rankings with 18 goals in 20 matches. He was unable to do anything this Sunday during his team’s heavy defeat against PSV Eindhoven (3-0). Sixth with the same statistics but more minutes played, Luis Suarez maintains the tempo after a new goal for Sporting CP this Sunday against CD Nacional (2-1).

Less good momentum for Igor Thiago who comes seventh with 16 goals in 24 matches, but did not score despite Brentford’s 1-0 victory against Aston Villa. It’s better, however, for Yanis Begraoui who continues his XXL season in Portugal. The Moroccan now finds himself at 15 goals in 20 matches with Estoril following a double against Santa Clara (4-2). This is better than Vedat Muriqi who comes ninth with one more match played. The Kosovar scored this Monday in Mallorca’s 4-1 victory against Sevilla FC. Finally, Uzbek Eldor Shomurodov comes in tenth place with 14 goals in 20 matches. Istanbul player Basaksehir scored again on Saturday against Rizespor (2-2).

Lautaro Martínez (Inter Milan), Mason Greenwood (Olympique de Marseille), Jesus Andres Ramirez Diaz (Nacional), Samu Aghehowa (FC Porto), Ayoub El Kaabi (Olympiakos), Paul Onuachu (Trabzonspor), Tawanda Maswanhise (Motherwell) fail to reach the top 10 with 13 goals. Eldor Shomurodov (Istanbul Basaksehir) follows in eleventh place with the same statistics. Chris Bédia (Young Boys Bern), Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth and Manchester City), Christian Fassnacht (Young Boys Bern), Ferran Torres (FC Barcelona), Guus Til (PSV Eindhoven), Benjamin Nygren (Celtic Glasgow) and Luka Jović (AEK Athens) follow with 12 goals.
