It’s always a moment that gets fans talking. Almost every season, the salaries of Paris Saint-Germain players are revealed in the press. The Team does it every year for each club. Le Parisien gave figures in its Saturday edition.
The main information is the drastic drop in the club’s payroll, which fell by 55% between 2022 and 2025.
With the departure of Kylian Mbappé in 2024, and those of Neymar Jr and Lionel Messi before him, Ousmane Dembélé is now the highest paid player at the club with a salary estimated at 1.56 million euros per month.
Warren Zaire-Emery and Lucas Hernandez, overpaid?
In total, there are eight players receiving at least 900,000 euros per month. Among them, in addition to Dembélé, we find the main executives of the club such as Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi, Vitinha, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Nuno Mendes.
There are, however, two small “exceptions”, which are highlighted by PSG supporters. The first concerns Lucas Hernandez, and his salary of 1 million per month, negotiated upon his arrival from Bayern Munich. Since then, the 2018 world champion has failed to establish himself as an indisputable starter at PSG.
The other point of discussion concerns Warren Zaire-Emery, and his 950,000 euros monthly. This salary was obtained during his contract extension, in April 2024, at a time when he was seen as the future face of the club. Since then, its rating has dropped significantly.
Compared to their status, the salaries of Joao Neves and Willian Pacho can be considered quite low. They should be revised upwards fairly soon, if an agreement is reached for a contract extension.
