It’s the shock of the day. For the 23rd day of the Premier League, Arsenal hosts Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium. Leaders, the Gunners hope to regain a seven-point lead over Manchester City, their runner-up. The Red Devils, for their part, are fifth and can get back in front of Liverpool in the event of success and return to the top 4. If Mikel Arteta’s men remain on a bland 0-0 against Nottingham in the league, Michael Carrick’s players remain on a nice 2-0 victory against Manchester City, the rival. The meeting can be followed live with commentary on French Football Weekly from 5:30 p.m.

For this match, Mikel Arteta is deprived of Calafiori and Dowman and aligns a 4-3-3 with Raya in goals and a Timber defense, Saliba, Gabriel and Hincapie. Rice and Odegaard accompany Zubimendi in the middle while Saka and Trossard support Jesus in attack. Eze and Gyokeres therefore start on the bench. Opposite, Michael Carrick cannot count on De Ligt and Zirkzee and lines up the same eleven as in the victory against Manchester City with Lammens in the cages and a rearguard of Dalot, Maguire, Martinez and Shaw. Casemiro and Mainoo play in front of the defense while Diallo, Bruno Fernandes and Dorgu support Mbeumo, alone in attack.

Team compositions:

Arsenal: Raya – Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie – Rice, Zubimendi, Odegaard – Saka, Jesus, Trossard

Manchester United: Lammens – Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw – Casemiro, Mainoo – Diallo, B.Fernandes, Dorgu – Mbeumo
