Continuation and end of the sixteenth day of Serie A with the match between Como and AC Milan. The two teams are fighting for European places, but it was the Rossoneri who were playing big tonight in this Lombard derby. After Inter’s victory against Lecce (1-0), Adrien Rabiot’s partners were second in the standings at kick-off, six lengths behind the Nerazzurri. Suffice to say that we had to beat Cesc Fabregas’ men to stay in contact with Cristian Chivu’s players.
The story started badly for the Milanese with Como opening the score by Kempf in the 10th minute. But Max Allegri’s men didn’t give up. Christopher Nkunku scored his fifth goal of the season with Milan at the very end of the first period, before Adrien Rabiot sealed his team’s victory with a double (55th, 88th). The Rossoneri won 3-1, remained second in the standings, but came within three points of Inter. Como remains 6th.
