The RC Lens squad was further expanded during the winter transfer window, notably with the arrivals of Allan Saint-Maximin and Amadou Haidara. A density which risks being fatal to Fodé Sylla. The young defensive midfielder (19 years old), under contract until 2028 with the Sang et Or, could thus be loaned to one of the countries where the transfer market is still open.

This is what Pierre Sage confirmed Thursday at a press conference. “His situation has evolved a little in the hierarchy (…)explains the northern coach. Today, he has gone backwards, the players in his sector of play who precede him have performed so well that they leave him little hope and it is true that it will be important for us that he has playing time.

Lens studies a new loan

A new loan would therefore be under study for the French U20 international, who had already been sent temporarily to Yverdon Sport last season. “Other championships are still open so we are wondering about this possibility”adds the Racing coach. In Europe, Switzerland, Austria and even Turkey can still welcome it.
