First announced in the sights of Juventus, then associated with Nottingham Forest, the former Olympique Lyonnais player left to treat himself to a nice transfer to AC Milan. Everything was supposed to be settled this Monday, before the winter market closed, but the matter collapsed according to Fabrizio Romano. A knee problem is believed to be the cause of this dramatic turn of events.

Clearly, this is a hard blow for Jean-Philippe Mateta, who sees his transfer to a big name in Europe collapse.
