After getting his messages across, Xabi Alonso finally spoke publicly. And if he was able to be more candid behind the scenes, the ex-Merengue coach opted for more consensual communication on his social networks.
“This professional stage is coming to an end, and it has not gone as we would have liked. Coaching Real Madrid has been an honor and a responsibility. I thank the club, the players and especially the supporters and Madrid for their trust and support. I leave with respect, gratitude and pride in having done my best”he posted on his account Instagram.
