Dominating is not winning. PSG learned this the hard way the day before yesterday during the round of 16 of the Coupe de France at the Parc des Princes against their neighbor PFC. Lacking realism despite its technical superiority, the European champion was surprised at the end of the match by a goal from Ikoné and ended up losing 1-0. The day after this unexpected feat, the president of the PFC, Pierre Ferracci returned to The Parisian behind the scenes of this crazy evening, and in particular what the leaders of PSG had said to him.

Nasser (Al-Khelaïfi) was not at the match but he sent me a congratulatory message. Campos (PSG sports advisor) and Melero (general director) also congratulated us, even if they were disappointed, like Sarkozy…smiles the one who has been in office since 2012. But we have good, quality relationships with PSG. There’s no point with that. Now they have the championship and the Champions League to make up for it.»
