Aaron Anselmino leaves Dortmund and returns to Chelsea

It was in the air, it’s now official. While he had been loaned since the start of the season to Borussia Dortmund where he shone despite reduced playing time (10 appearances, 1 goal and 1 gift), Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino is leaving the Ruhr and making his return to Chelsea.

The English club have decided to use a recall clause in their loan in order to strengthen their defense. The 20-year-old arrived at Chelsea in the summer of 2024 for 16.5 million euros but only played 2 minutes with the London club.
